Provinance works closely with many customers to fulfil specific requests (enquire here), with a particular expertise in sourcing, buying and selling the finest and rarest wines on the planet. We are wholly aware of the inherent risks associated with this category of wine (and all categories below), and only buy and sell wine we have absolute faith in.
As clearly reflected in our company name, we have the strict view that provenance is everything.
Provinance only purchases stock with known history and superior storage history, from a trusted network of European suppliers. Except in very rare instances, Provinance only buys and sells stock that has not left Europe, to ensure no excess travel and, for example, the temperature risk associated with shipping across oceans and continents.
Provinance gathers all possible information prior to any stock purchase. For the rarest of the rare, we have on occasion engaged highly respected authentication professionals to inspect stock on our behalf, to affirm condition and authenticity. Likewise, we have close relationships with numerous parties close to Domaines and Châteaux whom we can call upon. Additionally, within our team, we have many decades of experience in the fine wine trade and are highly accustomed to legitimate, ultra-fine wines, having inspected, bought and sold significant quantities over the years.
We regularly ship wines from our sources in mainland Europe, and only work with trusted, professional hauliers with the ability to deliver wine of any price and quality level. We are well versed in airfreight and in refrigerated transportation, ensuring speed of delivery, low temperatures and, thus, the arrival of our (and our customers') wines in optimum condition.
All our wines are stored in controlled conditions in either London City Bond Eton Park or Vine International, within London City Bond Tilbury.
